13 HOURS (2016)

Surprisingly not awful. In fact, I enjoyed most of the film WAY more than I expected to. There is too much slow motion, humorous "tension killers", and its length is over powering. Despite some of these standard flaws, it is light on the over indulgent Bay and the tension/action is shot very well. It’s averageness, with peaks and valleys kept to a minimum, caught me off guard and I was pleased the overall viewing experience.
One shot I liked: the grief of the mothers, wives and sons expressed for the Isis fighters after their failures in the raid. Unexpected in this “less-than-subtle/complex” pro-American war film.
