10/10/2016 - Tickled (2016) - 7-/10

So damn weird, but certainly enjoyable. This journey is a unique one with the twists & turns so winding. The mystery built as the info poured in, taking us along on this wild odyssey. The story is just so good (though not nearly as funny as “a tickling documentary” might make it sound).

The doc may be a tad plain and simplistic, but the clawing through the piles of strangeness and subterfuge for answers makes for a fully engaging trek. The construction of this complicated castle consisting of coitus, cash, crime, and the curios was so clever and cogent.

This was an effective and enchanting documentary that will keep wondering at the strangeness and savoring the kooky.
