12/20/2016 - Journey to the West (2013) - 5-/10

Perhaps it lost something having my viewing split up into chunks over months, but I found it fun but meandering. The plot lost its way for me, squandering much of the emotion and heart. Perhaps I just wasn't seeing it. Idk. Cute and funny, but ho-hummish. Certainly not Chow's best work, but still enjoyable in a funny CG heavy fable kind of way.
