5/27/2017 - Daemonium: Soldier of the Underworld (2015) – 3+/10

The ultimate "rule of cool" mix & match of steam/cyber punk post-apocalyptic magical demonic sci-fi action hodgepodge. The story is limited at best, tenuously and sloppily outlined at truest. Costume and spectacle rule here.

Nonsensical but genre heavy inventiveness costume & action set-pieces dominate every frame. Very much in the vein of Tokyo manga fantasy fight-em-ups, drenched in Mexican Christian stylings and video game action-horror cliches. There are worse ways to spend a couple hours but I can’t label it “good”.
