8/12/20 - Crip Camp (2020) - 8/10

Another of those unknown but monumental gatherings that changed the world (reminds me a bit of General Magic). But beyond the camp's importance, it is the bearing and acceptance of these marvelous souls that truly grapples that cold hollow walnut that I call a heart. It’s beautiful and emotional, providing us a glimpse of the camp that made them feel whole as they should and launched a movement of acknowledgement and normalization.Stirring and inspiring, with terrific footage coverage and individual storytelling. A strong doc.
