4/30 - Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse (2021) - 4+/10

Completely unengaging and milquetoast. Flirts with the idea of a large conspiracy but provides an uneventful military action yawn. There isn’t any drama or real intrigue, no characters to latch onto and nothing that drives the film. It’s a choppy action set-piece paint by numbers that I suppose is meant to set up a Jack Ryan 2.0, who’s more angsty and Wickian/Jack Reacher-ey...I guess. But if they are relying on someone other than Clive Cussler dads, they have missed the target completely.
