SLOW WEST (2015)

5/26/2015 - Slow West (2015) - 7-/10

This sparse (for the best and worst, but certainly deliberate) Western toes the line of 6/7. It's sardonic whimsy, set-piece beauty, and overall otherness put into that "pretty damned good" territory. Plus, it should hover in the territory of the 2 films that it reminded me of: Dead Man meets The Proposition, w/the "Mini Me" Coens making out w/ Wes Anderson's sister. Is that convoluted enough?
