A disappointingly bland effort from the "Minions studio". Safe, boring, tired, this film brought nothing but the mediocre "seen this before".

There also seemed to be many "punch-up" bits, where "funny" dialogue is placed over the unfunny action. This seemed to be Kevin Hart's role.

It is a "fine for kids" kinda film, but with the quality of recent movies like Zootopia, this feels slight and uninteresting.
